My name is Kathilyn Onn, and I am currently a second-year graphic design student at Fanshawe College. I began working as graphic designer in 2001 for an archaeological consulting firm. At the same time, I studied Media, Information and Technoculture at the University of Western Ontario. After four years at the archaeological consulting company, I went freelance and decided to take graphic design at college. This past summer I worked for Creation Signs and Printing. I now work part-time for Sign Depot and run my own side business – Edgy Designs – out of my home. The courses I have taken at Fanshawe have given me up-to-date skills and I have real-world experience from working in the industry. |
